Most of the Sweeps pounced on Ultra Magnus. Scourge hovered above them as they pinned the City Commander, and then he swooped down. He grabbed the Autobot's throat.
"You will pay," Scourge snarled at Ultra Magnus.
"For what?" Ultra Magnus wheezed, as Scourge's talons sunk deeply into his neck.
"You killed my father," Scourge retorted angrily. "I saw where you blasted the cliff, as he led you away from the Pack. If you had let him go he would have lived."
Galvatron managed to singlehandedly get the rest of the Autobots to back off. He and Cyclonus then waited on what Scourge would do with Ultra Magnus.
"That was your father?" Ultra Magnus said incredulously.
"Yes," Scourge growled. The talons gripped more tightly.
Ultra Magnus couldn't throw all of the Sweeps off him. He needed to get away. Truth was, the Autobots had been called to leave that planet, indeed tha

When Slash's pack realized that their Leader was dead, they moved to take the body. "We can't leave him here," Number 7 said, "Either the Autobots will come for him, or our feral brethren will return to finish what they started."
Scourge nodded. "We must take him somewhere where his body won't be disturbed.
Sounds of approaching Autobots in the distance caused the Sweeps to hurry. Slash was so big and awkward to carry that it took two Sweeps to hold onto him. In order to leave quickly, they took to the air, staying just above the treetops to avoid detection. They quickly reached the den and showed the others. Pandora came out of the den with several well-grown cubs in tow, and the Cub Pack assembled from one of the nearby dens. Emerald and the Sentries that had remained to guard the den were the last to gather around. Their faces registered shock, then sadness. Some of the

Scourge was fully grown, now. His beard was thick and full, and he had attained the height and strength of his father's packmates. There was some question as to whether he'd get any bigger, like his father. His half-brothers were nearly full-grown, their own scanty beards starting to fill in a bit more. All four had already passed the Trial of the Hunt, as had all of Number 9's cubs. Number 4's first litter of cubs were due to take the Trial very soon. Another litter was on its way.
It had grown dangerous to venture outside territorial boundaries. The feral pack had outstripped the population of their own small pack by almost double. If it weren't for the high mortality rate of feral cubs, and the fact that Autobots now shot any Sweep on sight, it would have been much higher. Slash had secretly observed a group of Autobots kill a feral Sweep cub. The poor brute was too young to know any better, and had attacked the patrol openly, in broad daylight. The food s

The next time Slash went to Chaar, Scourge did not ride in his hull. Instead, as a fully-fledged Pack Member, he was able to make the trip under his own power.
Cyclonus saw a grin on Scourge's face after he had arrived and transformed that stretched from audial to audial on his halfbearded face. "What are you so pleased about?" Cyclonus asked.
"He is now considered an adult, and thus, a full-fledged Pack Member," Slash said, beaming with pride himself.
Scourge nodded. "I had to prove myself in a very interesting way," he stated, then proceeded to tell Cyclonus about the Trial of the Hunt and all it entailed.
Cyclonus noted that Scourge's voice had gotten deeper still, with more of a gravelly quality to it. It had been a few months since they'd last seen each other.
Even though Scourge was considered fully grown, he still had the playfulness he had as a cub. After he finished h
